Alan E. Cavadini

Alan E. Cavadini, 68, of rural La Crosse, died Sunday January 7, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse following a long struggle with dementia. He was a born in La Crosse on March 26, 1955 to Leo and Leona (Korn) Cavadini. He graduated from Bangor High School in 1973. Alan married Dina Degenhardt on June 23, 1984 at St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Church.

Alan owned and operated Cavadini Auto Repair in Coon Valley for many years, retiring in 2018. He enjoyed racing cars in his earlier years, riding motorcycle and aviation. He was an avid reader and Green Bay Packer fan. He loved his dogs and leading a quiet life.

Survivors include his wife, Dina; a brother, Steve (Yong) Cavadini of Lincoln, NE; 2 sisters, Shirley (Dan) Kohlmeier of Mindoro and Jolene (Cal) Tenner of North Bend and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Church. The Seland Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Coon Valley is assisting the family. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
