Barry E. Trussoni

Barry Eugene Trussoni, age 86, died Monday, April 3, 2023, in the same home where he was born on November 29, 1936 to Lawrence and Laurena (Beyer) Trussoni.  He married Carole Krause on June 13, 1959, enjoying nearly 60 years together before she passed away on May 10, 2019.  Together they were blessed to raise four children on the Trussoni Family Farm, showing them the value of both hard work and front-porch relaxation. When Barry wasn’t throwing two haybales at a time at the age of 80, he was in his shed tinkering or in his big garden growing popcorn for the family.

He is survived by his children, Randy (Bridget), Sandy, Tim (Cheryl), and Jim (Joann); his grandchildren Dan & Rachel (Moses) Trussoni, Kaitie (Darian) Strasser, Jess (Josh) Weltzien, Cass & Jenna Trussoni; and great–grandsons, Luca & Jude Onyangore, Maverick Weltzien, and baby Strasser on the way.  Barry is also survived by siblings, Naomi Roberts, Ruth (Tom) Lucas, Larry (Sharon) Trussoni, Jeanette Amundson, Alfred (Deb) Trussoni; his in-laws, Judy Trussoni, Mary Trussoni, Norm (Jean) Krause, Larry (Sharon) Krause, Dan (Betty) Krause, Lavonne Krause, and Cindy Penkalski, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Waiting to greet him included his wife, Carole, his parents, his brothers Jerry & Ed, and his in-laws Janis Trussoni, Wayne Krause, and Shirley Krause Fanello.

A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7th at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley with a private burial at a later date.

The beautiful irony is that

our loss is another’s reunion.
