Bonnie M. Spears

Bonnie M. Spears, 69, of Stoddard, died Tuesday March 30, 2021 at her home.  She was born December 12, 1951 to Chester and Evelyn (Lenser) Spears in La Crosse.  She attended Smith Valley School, graduated from Logan High School in 1970, and UW-La Crosse in 1975.  Bonnie was employed at Chileda for 16 years and then worked in support services for Bethany St. Joseph Corp. for many years.

Bonnie enjoyed gardening, going to casinos, playing cards and spending time with her friends. Bonnie and her mother enjoyed many bus trips to casinos and made many friends.

Survivors include a cousin, many friends and her beloved cat, Tom. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Emily and John Bruun.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday April 5, 2021 at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley. A private burial will be in the Stoddard Cemetery.  Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
