Catherine M. Fosdal

Catherine M. Fosdal, 50, of Stoddard died Friday February 15, 2013 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse after a brief illness. She was born August 21, 1962 in La Crosse to LaVerne and Garnet (Dennison) Sandwick. She was baptized and confirmed at the Stoddard United Methodist Church. Catherine graduated from DeSoto High School in 1981. She married Terry Fosdal on September 22, 1990 in La Crosse. The couple has lived all their married life in Stoddard. Catherine worked at Rocky's Supper Club in Stoddard for many years. She was an active member Stoddard United Methodist Church and also volunteered at God's Clothing Store in Stoddard. Catherine loved cats and enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include her husband Terry; daughter Kara; her parents LaVerne and Garnet Sandwick; a sister Cindy (Fred) Levendoski all of Stoddard; a brother James (Debra) Sandwick of Holmen; her mother and father-in-law Paul and Darlene Thelen of La Farge and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Alfred Fosdal and her grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday February 21, 2013 at the Stoddard United Methodist Church with Rev. Banze Kyabuntu officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley and at the church on Thursday from 10 am until service time. Memorials may be given to the Stoddard United Methodist Church.
