Clinton "Pee Wee" D. Larson, 94, of Coon Valley died peacefully Saturday May 18, 2013 at Norseland Nursing Home in Westby. He was born February 9, 1919 in the town of Coon, Vernon County to Carl and Dena (Grythe) Larson. He was baptized and confirmed at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Clinton attended Erickson School and the Coon Valley School. On February 3, 1943 he was married to Lucille Lovaas by Rev. J.O. Holum. The couple farmed their married life on South Ridge in the town of Coon. Lucille died September 8, 1996. He was a life time member of the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Clinton enjoyed polka music, antique tractors, being in the field and doing custom work, baseball and listening to ball games by the big tree.
Survivors include 4 nephews, Carliss Larson of Coon Valley, Jon (Edy) Larson of Willard, Ronald Larson of Coon Valley and Wayne (Marilyn) Olsen of Rochester, Minn., and many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Sherman Larson; two sisters Selma Olsen and Marian Larson; a nephew Erland Larson and two nieces Pat and Karen Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 21, 2013 at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church. Rev. Dan Wollman will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
