Fox William Marshall

Fox William Marshall was born December 16th, 2021 at 10:23am, thirty-two minutes after his twin sister, Liana. Fox was an immediate and absolute source of joy for to his parents, Paul and Sarah, big sister, Evangeline, grandparents, Bill and Sue Lockwood, Darlene and Monte Torgerson, and William Marshall, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

From day one Fox exhibited the classic calm stoicism of his father’s Norwegian side, while his twin embraced the much louder, emotive nature of mom’s uniquely boisterous German and Filipino ancestry. Always sweet, always cuddly, Fox enjoyed patiently waiting in the arms, lap, or on the shoulder of any willing grown up for his turn at feedings, wardrobe changes, and baths. He liked to change his outfit 2-4 times daily and required frequent twin time – mostly to cuddle, but also for tag team tummy time, which he performed with his signature quiet determination – his sister took a louder approach. In his free time, he enjoyed laying on a boppy, watching people and dogs move back and forth across the room, and looking into the faces of those who loved him most. His life came to an unexpected and heartbreaking end on February 8th, 2022, after a short and confusing hospital stay.

After a long, painful journey, spanning nearly two years, Fox was finally returned to his parents, whom wish to honor his memory by holding a memorial service for him at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Westby, Wisconsin.  Memorials may be sent to Seland Funeral Home, P.O.
