Jerome "Jerry" D. Trussoni, 77, of rural Genoa passed away Friday July 21, 2017 at his home. He was born December 14, 1939 in rural Genoa to Lawrence and Laurena (Beyer) Trussoni. He graduated from Aquinas High School in La Crosse. Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Judy Joseph, in 1958 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Genoa. He farmed, hauled milk and worked at Genoa Cheese Factory before working for 37 years as a machine operator for Trane Company in La Crosse. He retired in 2002. He raised many acres of tobacco over the years.
Jerry loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to fish, deer hunt, bear hunt, golf and raise a large garden. He enjoyed having company, his favorite recliner and his cat Whiskers. Jerry took pleasure in laughing at family stories, reading the paper, and watching westerns, the Brewers and the Packers.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Steve (Aline) of Waunakee, Jeff (Tina) of DeSoto, Mike (Sharon) of Viroqua and Pat of DeSoto; daughters, Wanda (Dwight) Dach of Viroqua, and Kristi (Jerod) Skau of Urbandale, IA; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Naomi Roberts, Barry (Carole), Ruth (Tom) Lucas, Larry (Sharon), Jeanette Amundson and Al "Fritz" (Deb); 3 sisters-in-law, Mary Trussoni, Margie Hirschuber and Jayne (Dennis) Blihovde.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ed; sons Troy and Ray and grandson Tyler Trussoni.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday July 25, 2017 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Genoa. Rev. Arul Doss will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
