Juna A. Manske

Juna A. Manske, 83, of Stoddard, died Monday November 24, 2014 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born June 18, 1931 in Vernon County to Leif and Mabel (Jensen) Helgeson. On June 20, 1964 she married Walter "Stub" Manske at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Chaseburg. Juna worked at several photo shops in La Crosse and later retired from Wichelt Imports of Stoddard. She was a member of the St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Stoddard Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Lori (Tom) Moystner of La Crosse and Joan (Doug) Meyers of Coon Valley; 1 granddaughter Nicole (Jason) Mahlum; 1 grandson Jake Meyers; 3 great grandchildren, Even, Ayla and Adesa Mahlum and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter "Stub" in 2003; 2 brothers, Lester in 2013 and Harley in 1935; 2 sisters Carol Gobel and Dorothy Hannum both in 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday November 26, 2014 at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stoddard. Rev. Phillip Arnold will officiate with burial in the Stoddard Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred.
