Lynn A. Ostrem

Lynn A. Ostrem, 62, of Chaseburg, died Tuesday November 12, 2024, in Viroqua. She was born January 20,1962 to John and Karen (Brand) Sampson in La Crosse. Lynn married Mark Ostrem on September 18,1982. She worked at The Company Store in La Crosse for over 40 years. 

Her talent for cooking and baking was enjoyed by all. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday being able to cook for friends and family. She was always looking forward to baking Christmas cookies as well. Lynn loved playing with her dogs and more than anything spending time with her grandson Zaidyn. She had many special friends that she appreciated dearly. 

She is survived by her husband, Mark Ostrem, son, Mike Ostrem and grandson Zaidyn Ostrem; brothers, Joe (Louise) Sampson, Matt (Tina) Sampson; a sister Kara (Tim) Davidson; a stepbrother Todd Bina; a brother-in-law, Steve (Laura) Ostrem; her father, John (Gloria) Sampson and various godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Sampson; and her father and mother-in-law Harley and Gloria Ostrem.

 A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday November 22, 2024, at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Private burial will be in the Lower Coon Valley Lutheran Cemetery. Condolences may be given at selandsfuneralhome.com.
