Mark D. Pellegrini

Mark D. Pellegrini, 51, of Stoddard, died Saturday May 4, 2024 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born on December 21st 1972, at St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights, IL to Mille Cooper and Michael Pellegrini. He graduated Rich East High School in 1991. He served in the U.S. Marines at Camp Pendleton. He married Nichole Pellegrini November 1st, 2007, after dating for 14 years.

He moved to his first apartment with Nichole (soulmate) in Chicago heights in 1996, they bought their very first home in Park Forest, IL in 2000 and shortly after they welcomed their pride and joy Markie in the year 2002. In 2008 they moved to Rockmart, GA, then to Stoddard in 2013.   

He was a “Jack of all Trades, Master of None”. He worked as a Fence Master, in manufacturing, food processing, construction. You name it, he could do it. 

His hobbies included movies, music, woodworking, art, and landscape photography.

Mark was a simple man, who enjoyed a quiet life. He loved keeping his hands busy and was always doing something. He was a major movie buff on top of being a huge music enthusiast. He was an impeccable cook and even won a few awards for his cheesecake. Those aren’t the only awards he was proud of, him and his son Markie also won many awards for their derby cars. Mark was an amazing craftsman, if you haven’t ever gotten a planter picnic table or bird house, made by him, you missed out! He was very meticulous with every job he took on; he was an all-around handyman. Mark even enjoyed taking the time to sketch out tattoos or taking beautiful pictures of the scenery around him. 

He is survived by his mother, Mille (Bob) Cooper of Stoddard; his soulmate, Nichole Pellegrini of Rockmart GA; his son, Mark N. Pellegrini of Rockmart GA; brothers, Mathew Pellegrini of Centennial CO and Michael Pellegrini of Somerset KY; a sister, Randi Cooper of Prairie du Chien. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Pellegrini and a brother Jamie Meeker. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday May 18, 2024 at the Seland Funeral Home in Coon Valley followed by a life celebration from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Stoddard Village Park 500 Division St. in Stoddard WI. Visit selandsfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence.
