Rosella L. Roesler

Rosella L. Roesler, 95 of La Crosse, died Friday March 1, 2024 at Brookdale Senior Living. She was born June 29, 1928 in the Town of Greenfield, La Crosse County to Herman and Ida (Martin) Schultz. On August 17, 1948 she married Daniel Roesler and together they farmed for many years. She also was employed at Auto-Lite and La Crosse Footwear and after Dan’s death, part time for a few years at La Crosse Floral which she enjoyed very much. She loved deer hunting, euchre tournaments and traveling with Dan. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 52 and Southside Senior Citizens. Rosella was a very giving person, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Survivors include her sister Delores Manske of Chaseburg; sister-in-law, Sue (Jerry) Forsythe of La Crosse and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel on October 31, 2007; her parents; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Martha Roesler; sister Esther Schultz; twin sister Rosetta Heinze; brothers, Ervin and Leonard Schultz; nephew, DuWayne Manske; brothers-in-law, Louis Heinze Jr., Douglas (Helen) Roesler and Arlin Manske; sisters-in-law, Beverly Schultz, Lucille Hoeth, Doris Gerke and Phyliss Bendel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday March 8, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate with burial in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park.  A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12 p.m. until service time.
