Sharon took her last breathe one day prior to her 72nd birthday, while resting peacefully in her home in Chaseburg, WI on a sunny warm day with her lovely children Nicole and Joseph whom she loved by her side. She was born to Gustave Carl Broskinski and Elaine Claire Stellner, the 2nd youngest of 7 children. Sharon grew up on Old Oak Ridge in Stoddard, WI on a farm until she graduated from Desoto High School in 1971.
She married Don J. Loefflad on July 5th, 1974 where they celebrated and created her two beautiful, loving children Nicole Joy and Joseph Don until divorcing in 2000 after 25 years.
Sharon later married the love of her life Thomas Floyd on October 23, 2009. Sharon owned and operated Tippy Toe in Chaseburg, WI, and the Fjord in Coon Valley until his death in August of 2015. She later retired from the La Crosse Area School district after 15 years in Food Service, making her amazing breakfasts and lunch for all the kids.
Sharon Enjoyed living her life in lower Chaseburg, until the flood of 2018 which took her on an unexpected adventure when she lost her home and vehicle which then relocated her to upper Chaseburg in the apartments for six years. Her son Joey, and daughter-in-law Ashley moved into Chaseburg just an alley away, where she loved getting visits from her beloved grandsons Stetson, Memphis, and Hendrix. Along with her daughter and son-in-law Levi who would come to visit her along with her older grandsons Ruger, Gage, and Hoyt. Sharon loved her six grandsons so much.
Sharon is survived by her brother Carl Brosinski, sisters Margie Schumacher, Mary (Jim) Kuecher, and sister-in-law Nancy Brosinski, Mary Ann Liebert, brother-in-law Bob Dotterwick and special friend Marilyn Berra Skrede along with many nieces and nephews.
She is peacefully resting with her husband, Thomas Floyd of 12 years. They will be laid to rest together in the Chaseburg cemetery in the near future. Her parents, bother Gary Rae, Sisters Janice Brosinski and little siter Sally Dotterwick, brother-in-law Dennis Schumacher, Tom Liebert and her very special Aunt Maxine Dayton.
Sharon lived her life to the fullest doing what she loved to do. Thank you everyone, we love you and please do what makes you happy in the life you have. Please come together to Celebrate this awesome person on Saturday March 22nd, 2025, at Tippy Toe in Chaseburg from 1 to 4 p.m. to cherish this special human, Sharon Floyd.
