Sheryl K. Ebli, 54, of rural Coon Valley, passed away from us to her heavenly home Wednesday May 20, 2020. She was the much-loved daughter of Ray (now passed away as well) and Jeanne Ebli, also of rural Coon Valley. She will be missed every day by her many friends and family. She is survived by her mother, one brother, Jay Ebli, a sister-in-law, Rebecca Ebli, two nieces Marissa Ebli and Ciara Rose Ebli and great-niece, Lilly Ann Mason; one aunt, Bernice Briscoe, two uncles, Raymond Nelson and Leo Nelson, one aunt-in-law Sharon Nelson, cousins, Gloria Stacy, Vickie Briscoe Christian, Risa Briscoe Kohl, Stuart Nelson, Steven Nelson, Kristine Nelson Brueggen, special friends, Pam Gasper, Kathy Pendzich, Laura and Jason Lindahl, Pat Pruss, many good friends from high school, the Nut Hut in Milwaukee and Amish friends too many to list.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ramon Ebli, two aunts, Verna Stacy and Arlene Nelson, cousins Douglas Stacy and Lisa Briscoe as well as many dear friends.
Sheryl was a special one-of-a-kind person, as each of us is, a true child of God, a staunch Christian with deep faith. She had an immediate unforgettable presence, was honest to a fault, a kind, loyal and generous friend. She hated hypocrisy above all and unfairness. She would drop everything to help friends in need, and cared about them deeply. She loved nothing better than to be with friends, having fun and doing things that made her and them happy. A casino was one of her favorite places, and she referred to a visit there as going to her happy place. She will be sorely missed by anyone who knew her. We did not expect or want her to leave us so suddenly. She would not want us to grieve unduly, but to be happy that at last, she is free of pain, her constant companion in recent months. Remember her with a loving heart, and know that she is now frolicking around on healthy knees and legs, with her dad at her side, both with their beloved Duchess in their midst.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at a later date. May God bless her memory.
